UCHE ONYEAMA, BENDE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY AND THE NEED FOR UNITY AND POLITICAL DECENCY

The past few weeks has been a beehive of activities in Nigeria And Abia as we all get set to elect a new set of leaders and representatives come 2019.

In Bende, it has been an unprecedented exchange of bile and unnecessary tantrum session, destruction of billboards and other vices which tend to divide instead of unite us. This party versus the other party, Ikwuisii versus Umunna, the young versus the old.

Aspirants, forgetting that we are first brothers before becoming members of political parties have all unleashed their media Trojan horses to blackmail, insult, and deride their own brothers and sisters in the name of politicking.

That unity for which Bende is known has gradually eroded and given way to survival of the fittest and a winner takes all pattern which will leave us worse than where we are today.

Yet in the midst of all these chaotic atmosphere, a young man stands out. I choose to call him THE BRIDGE. A friend to all. A respecter of the old and the representative of the young.

Meet Uche Onyeama, a scion of the late Rt. Hon Sam Nwosu Onyeama of Ozuitem and speaker of Old Imo state. He has purchased, filled and submitted his nominated for House of representatives without making any fuss about it. That is the level of finesse and decency Uche is bringing to the table!

Uche has served, he has been nurtured, sieved, and like a bridge poised to Unite Bende in the quest for who will continue from where our Darling sister has stopped in the spirit of equity and fairness.

This is one time Bende Must speak with one voice, by Electing someone Fresh and devoid of the distractions of mundane politicking.

Support and Elect Uche Onyeama and Bende will be Great Again!
