The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia state has refuted the allegation by some sections of media that the name of former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and other party members are not in the party register.
Speaking with newsmen, the state party publicity secretary, Comrade Godson Benedict insisted that it was “a misinformation as such a statement did not emanate from the party.”
The party is best placed to tell whose names are in the party and whose names are not.”
On the forthcoming primaries, Benedict said “the state party caucus and leadership is meeting to take a decision and would brief the press on the outcome.”
