The growing agitation for a sovereign state of Biafra has continued to elicit reactions from notable Nigerians.

A statement reportedly credited to the Former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has it that the eastern part of Nigeria has the largest mineral resources and the revenue that accrues from it had been Nigeria’s major source.

Nigeria Government is aware of this that is the main reason they are keeping Biafran State from separating, Okonjo Iweala allegedly said.

Iweala was quoted to have said Biafrans state are the richest state in Nigeria.

Okonjo also said, “Eastern part of Nigeria has not received commensurate development given the quantum of resources that leaves the region to other parts of the country and they are not been treated well. Nigeria Government should rise up and develop their source, the Niger Delta”.

“If Biafra should go,they will be the fourth richest country in the world and Nigeria will suffer tremendously. “

  1. The people’s ideology cannotbe quenched, therefore Biafra freedom cannot be quenced no matter the outside attacks. I support that ideology to be free, and independent.
