Idima Abam Community Cries Out For Help, As Deadly Cult Group Allegedly Sponsored By A Top Politician Terrorizes Indigenes


A very deadly cult group known as Red Chambers are currently causing mayhem and maiming people in Idima Abam, in Arochukwu Local Government Area.

This publication is to draw the attention of government and security agencies in the state have been called to the activities of these unscrupulous elements identified as Red Chambers, terrorizing Idima Ahaeke Abam community and giving the people sleepless nights.

This followed the alleged intimidation of villagers by a man a former commissioner in Abia state Chief Sampson Orji who is purported to be the financial sponsor of the activities of the notorious Red Chamber gang with the assurances that he gives them safety.

One of the victims, Chukwu Jonah Okoroukwu who was severly manhandled and stabbed by the said gang, while in his hospital bed at the Federal Medical Center,Umuahia, who spoke to newsmen recounted his ordeal in the hand gang, whom he said almost killed him when they invaded his shop and destroyed goods worth millions of naira.

He said that since he was attacked and admitted into Hospital,the whereabouts of his family has been unknown as he doesn’t know if they are still alive or dead.

Chukwu Jonah however, maintained that anarchy ,lawlessness and intimidation currently experienced in Abam were allegedly being masterminded by Chief Sampson Orji whose anthics he said is well known by the police and the Transition Chairman of Arochukwu Local government.

He called on government and members representing them both at the National and local levels and also the security agencies to rescue the community from Anarchy and Oppression.

As at the time of this publication, all efforts to reach Chief Sampson Orji failed as his number was switched off.
