Ikwuano born Philanthropist, Amb. Chief Nzeribe Okegbue was yesterday the 19th day of January 2021 recognized and honoured as an Outstanding Abian by the Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Body of Advisers, the umbrella body of Special Advisers of the current administration in Abia state.
Speaking during his opening speech of the Interactive Session With The Governor, the Chairman of the body, Mr. Collins Nwakanma stated that the essence of the recognition session, which is one of the programs in the interactive session is to fish out Abians who are making the state proud in their chosen fields and also investing heavily in the state and honour them.
“Such Honour will spur the awardees to do more and also encourage others to emulate the patriotic gestures”.
Presenting the Award to Chief Okegbue, the Deputy Governor of the state Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu lauded Chief Okegbue’s patriotic and philanthropic dispositions and admonished him never to relent in his kind overtures.
Responding, Chief Okegbue thanked the body and promised to continue making Abia the centerpiece of his investment plans.
Chief Nzeribe Okegbue a proud son of Ikwuano Local government area is a highly respected Security/Human Resource Practitioner with over 25 years experience and the founding MD/CEO of several companies including Combatant Gurads Ltd, Nzealbertech Nig. Ltd, Natures Inventory Ltd. among others.
Chief Nzeribe is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, Vice Chairman Association of Licensed Security Practitioners of Nigeria, Lagos Zone, Fellow Nigerian Institute of Industrial Security, Fellow Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria, among many others.
Chief Nzeribe has over the years received many awards for his patriotism, philanthropic gestures and empowerment programs through his Nzeribe Okegbue Foundation.
He has also through his numerous companies provided thousands of employment opportunities to Nigerians, mostly youths.
Amb. Okegbue who has invested so much in real estate in Lagos and Abuja, harkened to the clarion call by the Governor of the state to All Abians to think home by investing in the state.
Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue in the last four years has invested about half a Billion Naira in Umuahia, developing Standard/Modern block of flats, thereby helping reduce the housing deficit within the capital city.
He is happily married to Lolo Ngozi Nzeribe Okegbue and their marriage is blessed with adorable children.
