Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha Splashes Millions on Primary & Secondary School Quiz Competition Winners

The member representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency Hon. Barr Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has splashed millions on the winners in the Inter constituency schools quiz competition organized by her foundation for private nursery and primary schools in her constituency.

The competition which is it’s maiden edition in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency and the first of it’s kind in the constituency.

It is another package added to the vast education programs which includes but not limited to free WAEC and JAMB registrations for all SS3 students in the public secondary schools in the constituency; Scholarship for indigent students/pupils in public schools.

The Quiz competition is for Private Primary and secondary schools in Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi federal constituency.

The competition which started on the 5th of July, 2022 climaxed on the 9th day of July, 2022.

In the primary category, Seed of Faith Nursery/ Primary School, Uturu emerged winners after scoring 36 points with Marcom comprehensive Academy, Isuikwuato coming second with 31 points while Homestead Alternative Academy, Isuikwuato came Third with 25 points.

In the secondary category, Gilgal Masters Classic College Isuikwuato emerged winners with 46 points with Mater Christi Academy Ngodo Isuochi as second with 39 points while Holy Cross Sec School, Uturu came Third with 37 points.

Winners of the event went home with a cash of #500,000 each.

Second position -#300,000, while third position got #200,000.

Fourth position got #150,000 each while consolation cash prize was given to each participating school.

Trophies and medals were as well given to the winners.

Speaking to AbiaPulseNews during the grand finale of the event Dr. Felix Obiukwu stated that the competition “is part of foundations contribution towards the intellectual development of pupils and students in the Constituency and the competition provided opportunity for socialization and intellectual interaction amongst the competitors.”

Rt Hon Onyejeocha in her speech encouraged the competitors to work hard in their studies as education is the key to national development.

“With education, the sky will be your limit in whatever field of endeavor you find yourself” she further stressed.

The DG Rt. Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha Campaign Organization Engr Ejike Chukwu, thanked the Deputy Chief Whip for her strong willed spirit in ensuring that children and youths are prepared for the future through her Annual education program and appreciated the participants for utilizing this opportunity for their growth and development.
